BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Experts say shade can help not just keep you cool in the hot weather, but also your air conditioner.
Mary Bubala reports it's smart to plant trees and shrubs to shade air conditioning units, but don't block the airflow.
A unit operating in the shade uses as much as 10 percent less electricity than those operating in the sun.
