NFL Week 13 Predictions

Week 12 started strong but ended horribly for me.  On Thanksgiving day I went 3-0 on my picks, but was only able to finish the week at 9-7.  My season total is now at 108-68.  Week 13 here we come.

Texans (5-6) vs. Eagles (7-4) --Apparently Mike Vick is human, he threw his first pick last week and the Eagles lost pretty badly to the Bears.  Houston sort of saved their season but it's still on life support.  With Philly at home I don't like Houston's chances.  On a side note, Asante Samuel, don't get on Andre Johnson's bad side.  PREDICTION---EAGLES

Saints (8-3) vs. Bengals (2-9) --This game should get ugly real quick.  Cincinnati is really bad and it's not going to get any better any time soon.  New Orleans are starting to look better and with Atlanta playing as well as they are, every game is a must win for the Saints.  PREDICTION---SAINTS

Bears (8-3) vs. Lions (2-9) --For weeks I have been saying how I don't believe that the Bears are as good as their record states.  Well it might be time to start believing, especially if Cutler keeps playing like he is.  Detroit's season is over lets just hope they don't get embarrassed again.  PREDICTION---BEARS

49ers (4-7) vs. Packers (7-4) --It's odd to say this but yes the 4-7 49ers still have a shot to make the postseason, god the NFC West is awful.  Green Bay played well last week but when your playing a QB who is 19-1 at home thats tough to beat.  A loss here should end San Fran's season but somehow I don't think it will.  PREDICTION---PACKERS

Jaguars (6-5) vs. Titans (5-6) --The Jaguars are in first place in the AFC South, that's right and you're not seeing things.  Jacksonville has been able to hang around and the misfortune of the Colts have helped them.  Quick question, Randy Moss does still play with Titans, right?  Unfortunately that's the least of the Titans problems.  PREDICTION---JAGUARS

Broncos (3-8) vs. Cheifs (7-4) --KC is another team many experts said weren't for real.  Yet here they are with 5 games left and still leading the AFC West.  Denver may have a new head coach soon, they have been just awful this year.  Also McDaniels is in the middle of Spygate 2.0, not a good time for the Broncos.  PREDICTION---CHIEFS

Browns (4-7) vs. Dolphins (6-5) --Miami has slim playoff hopes but they still put together a good game against Oakland.  Peyton Hillis is a beast, nothing really else to add to that.  Hillis scored all 3 touchdowns for the Browns last week.  They might need a repeat performance, even then I don't like their chances.  PREDICTION---DOLPHINS

Bills (2-9) vs. Vikings (4-7) --Those poor Bills fans, Steve Johnson was an overtime catch away from upsetting the Steelers.  Instead he dropped the ball and on the next drive Pittsburgh won.  The Vikings looked like a totally different team too bad its a little late.  Buffalo wont go quietly and it will probably end in heartbreak.  PREDICTION---VIKINGS

Redskins (5-6) vs. Giants (7-4) --Washington had plenty of chances against Minnesota last week and just couldn't get the job done.  New York showed some resilience after falling behind to Jacksonville and winning that game.  New York also caught a break with Philly losing, now they have to take advantage of it.  PREDICTION---GIANTS

Raiders (5-6) vs. Chargers (6-5) --It seems like Oakland's dream ride is over after getting their butts handed to them last week against Miami.  San Diego is doing it again, they started 2-5 and have won 4 in a row and are just one game behind KC for the division lead.  Rivers will add to his MVP resume in this game.  PREDICTION---CHARGERS

Falcons (9-2) vs. Buccaneers (7-4) --Atlanta is asserting itself as one of the best teams in the NFL, and now they face a hungry Tampa team.  The Bucs have not beat a team with a winning record and the last time these teams played it was close.  Tampa will keep it close again but Atlanta is too good.  PREDICTION---FALCONS

Panthers (1-10) vs. Seahawks (5-6) --The Panthers travel west to face one of the NFC West powerhouses, all kidding aside Seattle is tied with St. Louis for the division lead.  Carolina is another team that seems snakebiten, losing by one point to Cleveland last week.  The cross-country trip will be too much for the Panthers.  PREDICTION---SEAHAWKS

Rams (5-6) vs. Cardinals (3-8) --A lot of credit has to go to Sam Bradford for how he has played with very limited weapons.  Arizona is bad and apparently they think its funny.  We all know about the Derek Anderson incident, if he blows up over a simple question how can he win a football game?  He can't.  PREDICTION---RAMS

Cowboys (3-8) vs. Colts (6-5) --The Colts looked as bad as i have ever seen them look with # 18 as the quarterback.  On the other side Dallas has shown some life even it is a little late.  I know the Colts just got pounded at home but its hard to bet against Manning at home.  PREDICTION---COLTS

Steelers (8-3) vs. Ravens (8-3) --The one we have all been waiting for, nothing like a good street fight disguised as a football game.  Both teams have injury problems but in my opinion Pittsburgh's injuries are more serious, especially Roethlisberger.  If the Ravens can pound the rock it might be a long night for the Steelers.  PREDICTION---RAVENS

Jets (9-2) vs. Patriots (9-2) --This game is for the number one seed in the AFC.  Some might argue the Jets have been more lucky than good the last couple weeks, but they keep winning.  New England as looked unstoppable at times the last few weeks and with this being a home game I give them the edge.  PREDICTION---PATRIOTS
