Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash Near Kemptown, Md.

KEMPTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a Monrovia man is dead after his car crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck on Route 80 near Kemptown.

Police say 31-year-old David Winklepleck Jr. was killed Monday night shortly before 9:30 p.m.

They say he was the only occupant of the 2002 Chevrolet Malibu that struck a westbound, 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by 58-year-old Mark Curran of Dickerson.

Police say Curran's injuries were not life-threatening.
