Woman Dies After Crash In St. Mary's County
HOLLYWOOD, Md. (AP) -- The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office says a woman has died two days after a two-vehicle collision in Hollywood.
Deputies say on Dec. 4, a van driven by William Earl Jones Sr., 81, of Hollywood failed to yield the right of way at an intersection and struck a car driven by Emanuel Petrella, 77, of LaPlata.
Petrella and a passenger in his car, Constance Mary Petrella, were taken to local hospitals.
Authorities say Constance Petrella died Dec. 6.
Jones was issued a traffic citation for failing to yield the right of way.
