BALTIMORE (WJZ) — It’s Monday night football on WJZ. The Ravens take on the Houston Texans.

Ron Matz reports that after the disappointing loss to the Steelers, Ravens fans are ready to see their team get back on track.

The bitter loss to the Steelers last Sunday night is still being felt all around town.

“It was a gut-wrenching loss we took and now we’re going to come back and give Houston a payback. It’s time to start rolling now. We want home field advantage for the playoffs, that’s what we’re looking for,” said Bernard Williams of Pasadena, a Ravens fan.

Ravens fans expect their team to rebound in Houston.

“I think we won’t have any problems tonight as long as we show up for four quarters and all the guys come to play. They seem to do alright in prime time,” said Kenny Swisher, Ravens fan from Pasadena.

Ray Lewis and company will be center stage Monday night.

It’s a must win for the 8-4 Ravens. With just four games left in the regular season, the push for the playoffs is turning serious.

“Houston is not as good as the Ravens. Our defense is better than their defense, so I think that we will win the game,” said Matt Jenkins, 12-year-old Ravens fans from Pasadena.

Monday’s game on WJZ is the Ravens fourth prime time appearance this season.

“It’s awesome to be on Monday night football. What’s that do for Baltimore? Now people will start wanting to come down for the crab cakes, along with the football. It’s all great for Baltimore,” said Williams.

Coverage of the Ravens/Texans game begins at 8 p.m. on WJZ.
