ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Logan Aronholt and Tim Ambrose each scored 19 points and Albany (N.Y.) defeated Mount St. Mary’s (Md.) 77-57 on Saturday night.

Mike Black added 18 points for the Great Danes (6-6), who have won five of their past six games. Albany led 43-28 at halftime and opened the second half with a 16-5 run, pushing the lead to 59-34 with 11:05 to play. The Mountaineers cut the lead to 63-46 with 5:13 remaining but could get no closer.

The Great Danes shot 50 percent (29 for 58) from the field and outrebounded the Mountaineers 41-24.

Mount St. Mary’s struggled from long range, making only 21.1 percent (4 of 19) from 3-point range and made only 38.5 percent (10 of 26) from the field in the first half.

Raven Barber scored 20 points and Lamar Trice had 15 for the Mountaineers (3-8), who have lost four consecutive games.
