Md. Woman Hurt In House Fire She Allegedly Set
EMMITSBURG (AP) -- Investigators say a house fire in Emmitsburg was deliberately set by the woman who lived there.
Frederick County authorities say Denise Ruggiero, 42, set the fire, which was reported shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday.
They say Ruggiero is being treated for smoke inhalation at the University of Maryland Medical Center's Shock Trauma unit in Baltimore.
