Police ID Fatally Shot Would-Be Robber

LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police have identified a would-be robber who was fatally shot in a struggle with the owner of a Dunkin' Donuts and Quest gas station in Laurel.

Police identified the man Thursday as Josue Alberto Angel, 29, of Laurel.

Police say Angel was shot Tuesday when he entered the store and announced a robbery, implying that he had a weapon, but he was shot during a struggle with the owner.

No charges have been filed, and police say they will confer with the State's Attorney's Office.
