PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Alyssa Thomas scored 22 points to lead No. 18 Maryland to its 12th straight win, 74-60 over Saint Joseph’s on Sunday.
Diandra Tchatchouang had 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Lynetta Kizer had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Thomas helped lead the Terrapins (13-1) back from a six-point deficit in the first half. The Terps went on a 14-5 run early in the second half to give them a lead they would never give up.
Katie Kuester led the Hawks (10-4) with 23 points. Michelle Baker scored 12 points for the Hawks, who snapped a seven-game winning streak. Saint Joseph finished nonconference play with 10 wins, the most in team history.
Maryland shot 48 percent from the floor (29-of-61) and outrebounded the Hawks 48-30.
Saint Joseph’s fell to 31-110 against Top 25 teams and has not defeated a ranked team since 2007.
