Ravens Fan Shows Her Passion In The Kitchen

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- As you know, Ravens fans love their team. There's one Baltimore woman who shows her passion in the kitchen.

Ron Matz reports that for her, victory couldn't be any sweeter.

Charlotte Krause loves her Ravens. She wears her devotion and it can be see all around her office. Five years ago she started a tradition.

"We're all really big Ravens fans here, so we just thought this would be a good tradition to start. Every win, I make a victory cake, so the more I made the better I felt. That meant we were playing good. So we've done it for about five years now," said Krause, Ravens cake lady.

For her co-workers at Carroll Independent Fuels, a Ravens victory doubles the pleasure.

"It's nice. Victory is sweet for sure. It's a double bummer if they don't pull it out because we come here and we have to talk about the game. If they didn't win we don't get to eat cake, but when they win it's sweet, it's great. We really look forward to having these cakes and Charlotte does a great job," said Joe Antonelli, Charlotte's co-worker.

The cakes are delicious that Charlotte mixes up during the season.

"I usually mix it up. I do butter cake with chocolate icing. I do a chocolate chip cake, a cinnamon cake and I do a pumpkin cake, so I try to alternate a little bit. This week I did the butter cake with the chocolate icing," said Krause.

They bleed purple here and are hoping for a sweet victory on Sunday.

"I'm excited about Sunday. I think we can beat Kansas City and then go deep in the playoffs. I think we're going to be in the Super Bowl," said Antonelli.

"I think we're going to win on Sunday and I think we're going to the Super Bowl," said Krause.

Krause is also the president of Ravens Roost #60 in Perry Hall.

You can see the Ravens take on the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday at 1 p.m. on WJZ.
