2 Lucky Fans Will Head To Kansas City After Finding Golden Logo

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Ravens sent fans on a quest Wednesday to find the golden ticket that would earn them free tickets to the playoff game in Kansas City.

Kai Jackson spoke to the lucky winners.

Nick China and Jonathan Reid didn't have a lot to work with in finding the golden bird, but they made the most of what they had.

China was flying high Wednesday night and he'll be flying at 30,000 feet on Sunday.  He and Reid won two tickets to the Ravens vs. Chiefs playoff game in Kansas City.

They saw the contest on the Ravens' website.  Out of dozens of purple Ravens logos, only two were painted gold.    Those golden birds were worth an all-expense paid trip to Kansas City to see the Ravens/Chiefs game.

"I can't be more excited. I'm shaking," China said.

China and Reid recognized the brick underneath as the Inner Harbor and found it after a few stops.

"He goes, `There it is!'  We just stopped the car, got out and ran over to it," China said.

"It is like winning a golden ticket, especially after not winning the Mega Millions last night," Reid said.

They took a picture with the bird as required, posted it on the Ravens' Facebook page, were entered into a drawing and ultimately won.

The two golden birds are outside the National Aquarium in Baltimore and the Towson Courthouse.

You can see the Ravens travel to Arrowhead Stadium on WJZ. The Ravens and Chiefs will play Sunday at 1 p.m. on WJZ-13.
