Md. Cab Driver Shot; Suspects Sought

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) --  Salisbury police say a cab driver was shot after picking up two passengers.

Police say the cab driver had picked up the two passengers Wednesday about 12:05 a.m. and drove them to Newport Terrace. One passenger got out of the cab and shot the driver with a handgun. Both then fled on foot.

The cab driver called for help on his CB radio and was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center by another cab driver. He was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
