FBI: Package At D.C. Emergency Office Not A Threat

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The FBI says a package that prompted the evacuation of D.C.'s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency is not a threat and is not related to letters that ignited in Maryland and D.C. last week.

Agency spokeswoman Robyn Johnson says the package was found Monday afternoon in the agency's headquarters in the 2700-block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in southeast Washington.

FBI spokesman Rich Wolf says the package is not a threat and not related to the letters that ignited at Maryland state buildings and a D.C. postal facility last week.
