SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a Salisbury man has been charged with killing his grandmother.
Salisbury police say Rodney Miles, 25, was charged after his grandmother’s death was ruled a homicide Tuesday. Police say Miles’ grandmother, Catherine Slemons, 87, was discovered not breathing on Monday by a family member and was later found to have been strangled. Miles was charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as assault.
Police have not given a motive for the killing but said Miles stole his grandmother’s wallet.
