Anne Arundel Opening Warming Stations

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County is opening warming stations in response to lingering power outages and dropping temperatures.

County Executive John Leopold said Thursday that district police stations will be open as warming stations, because temperatures are expected to fall to the mid-20s overnight.

All county police district stations will be open during the night for residents in need of a warm place to stay.
