BLOG: Bring On Vlad
There's a lot of debate out there about what the Orioles should do next. I know pitching is a premium, but if the O's can bring in Vladimir Guerrero, I would do it in a heartbeat. He hit .300 and drove in 115 runs last season for Texas, and I would love to slide him right into the cleanup spot in this lineup. I think Nick Markakis, Adam Jones, Luke Scott and Brian Roberts are all really good players but I don't think other teams fear them. Vlad is a hitter that strikes fear into opposing pitchers, even at this point of his career. I say move Scott to left, make Felix Pie your 4th outfielder/defensive replacement and move on from there.
