Boil Water Advisory Lifted After Main Break
LARGO, Md. (AP) -- A boil water advisory in effect for about 400,000 people in Prince George's County after a massive pipe burst on Monday has been lifted.
Officials with the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission say the advisory was lifted Thursday after a test showing the water was safe to drink.
The water main break on Monday iced over part of the Capital Beltway in Maryland, snarling traffic and swamping parked cars.
