Woman Killed In Crash On I-695 In Md.

PARKVILLE, Md. (AP) --Maryland State Police say a woman was killed when her car crashed into the back of a semi tractor-trailer on icy Interstate 695.

It happened Thursday about 10:50 a.m. near the Harford road underpass in Parkville. Troopers say a car driven by Lindsay Anne Freeman, 24, of Towson ran into the back of a tractor-trailer operated by Randy Lee Olson of Alexandria, Minn. After impact, Freeman's car spun and stopped on the ramp.

Freeman was taken to Shock Trauma, where she died.

Troopers say several other crashes occurred in that area Thursday morning.
