Ex-Executive Sentenced For Bathroom Camera
EASTON, Md. (AP) -- A former mental health agency director who hid a video camera in a bathroom has been sentenced to five months in jail.
Retired Circuit Court Judge Raymond Beck convicted and sentenced Joseph Newell on Thursday. Newell will have to register as a sex offender.
Newell was charged in June with hiding a video camera in a unisex bathroom at the offices of the Mid-Shore Mental Health Systems.
Easton police have said the camera contained a memory card with video of Newell installing the device.
