BERLIN, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say a Pennsylvania man was charged with DUI twice in one morning.
Troopers say Daniel Fitchett Jr., 34, of Spring Grove, Pa. was charged about 1 a.m. Friday with drunken driving and released. Police say Fitchett was told he couldn’t drive for 12 hours.
Authorities say Fitchett made repeated calls to state police and Ocean Pines police, asking for help finding his car. Police went to his car, which was parked on the road shoulder where Fitchett had been stopped.
Police say they saw Fitchett get into his car and drive off. Authorities stopped him and charged him with DUI about 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Now this is stupid! Why would you release this fool and then allow him to get back in his car (again) and attempt to drive. The police aren’t working together? Note: this will not be the last time this drunk will drive under the influence….they will detain and release him again on to the roads where responsible individuals will be subjected to his drunken bouts and perhaps cause a serious accident for some poor victim.
How many DUI’s can you get before they take your driving priviledges?
