Police: Man Struck After Accident On I-95

EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) — State police say a pedestrian killed on Interstate 95 near Edgewood had been involved in an accident in the northbound lanes and fled to the other side of the highway. 

Police identified the man as Levon Brown, 27, of Rosedale. 

Police say Brown was behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed in the northbound lanes around 4:15 a.m. Saturday. He then fled on foot to the southbound lanes and was struck by two vehicles. He died at the scene. 

Police say a passenger in Brown’s car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
