Small Plane Lands Short Of The Runway In Gaithersburg
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (WJZ) -- It was a scary scene in Montgomery County when a small plane landed short of the runway at a Maryland airport.
The twin-engine plane was carrying six people, including two babies.
Officials say it landed short of the runway at the Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg.
Inside the plane were two men, two women, and twin 18-month-olds.
The fire department says the plane stopped in the grass near a wooded area.
No one was hurt.
