Woman Grazed In Shooting Outside Birthday Party

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County Police have charged a man and a 16-year-old in a shooting outside a birthday party in Glen Burnie that left a woman with a graze wound to her leg. 

Desmond Smith, 23, of Annapolis and the 16-year-old have been charged with assault and reckless
endangerment. They are each being held on $750,000 bond.

 Police went to the Moose Lodge Saturday about 11:15 p.m. after getting calls about a disorderly crowd in the parking lot. Officers heard gunshots and saw a car speed away. Police pulled the car over. 

A 19-year-old woman who suffered a graze wound to her leg refused treatment.
