Police Need Help Identifying Fatal Hit & Run Driver

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore County Police need help locating the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred at Rolling Road and Adil Court on Feb. 22.

At approximately 10:35 p.m., Jong Park, 56, was walking in the southbound lane of Rolling Road. The suspect vehicle was also traveling southbound and struck the pedestrian. Police say the driver of that vehicle failed to stop after the accident and continued on Rolling Road.

Park was transported to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect vehicle is a 4-door, 1998-2002 Mercury Grand Marquis. The exact color is still unknown, but police believe that the vehicle is a dark color. The vehicle may have damage to the grill area and the windshield area. The grill area is chrome in color and has a missing section.

Police have no information about the driver of the suspect vehicle.

    This is so sad. I was a driver on that road last and saw the man mr park in the street. i parked my car and called 911 along with other people. How can someone do such an act and sleep at night. Whoever you are that hit this man need to turn yourself in. This was a lifde you took and failed to stop. My heart and prays goes out to Mr Park’s family and friends. This is truly so sad that i am crying for his family.
