Police Search For Suspect In Attempted Abduction

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted abduction.

According to police, around 7:30 p.m. Friday, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the 900-block of N. Milton Street when she was approached by a suspect in an SUV who asked her if she needed a ride. The woman declined and the suspect exited his vehicle and grabbed the victim.

The suspect then forced her into his vehicle and drove  away from the location. Once inside the vehicle, police say the suspect asked the woman if she wanted to have sex, but she refused. A short time later, she was able to escape from the vehicle in the 200-block of N. Highland Avenue. The woman ran from the location and called the police. 

Police say the suspect is an Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, short in height, chubby build, black hair, baseball cap, round frame prescription glasses, gray sweater, blue jeans, tan boots.  He's driving a dark-colored SUV with a tan stripe on the side.

Anyone with any info should contact Eastern District Detectives at 410-396-2433. If anyone is approached by a vehicle or individual matching this description, they should immediately dial 911.
