BLOG: 5th Rounder For McGahee? Get It Done
A report came out in the last 24 hours that the Baltimore Ravens could get a 5th round pick in the NFL draft for running back Willis McGahee, I say jump at that. This is all assuming that the NFL and it's players come to an agreement and avoid a lockout before the draft next month of course. The Ravens are most likely going to cut him anyway, and while they say they would like to bring him back at a cheaper price, I say it's time to develop someone as your backup running back. Somebody who can block would be a bonus. It's obvious the starting job belongs to Ray Rice, and its likely Le'Ron McClain wont be back either. Time to look towards the future Ravens.
