Md. Woman Dies From Injuries In House Fire
PARKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say a woman injured in a house fire earlier this week has died.
Suzanne Hoff, 55, died Tuesday at St. Joseph Medical Center, where she was taken after Sunday night's fire.
Authorities say Hoff was in the basement of the house when the fire began and escaped. Firefighters found her on the lawn.
Investigators say improperly discarded smoking materials caused the fire.
