WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Darrion Pellum scored 23 points to lead Hampton to a 77-55 rout of Maryland-Eastern Shore Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament.

Kwame Morgan added 17 points for the Pirates and made 11 of 12 free throws on a night when his team made only 22 of 38 overall.

Hillary Haley led Maryland-Eastern Shore (9-22) with 17 points.
