Bob Barker Donates $2M To Injured Marines Fund

QUANTICO, Va. (AP) — TV personality Bob Barker says he’s giving $2 million to a fund for injured Marines.

The Semper Fi Fund, based in Quantico, Va., reported the gift Thursday.

Barker says in a news release that Americans have an obligation to ensure that injured service members and their families get the best possible care and support.

Barker was a World War II fighter pilot. In 2009, he contributed $3 million toward the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, a research and treatment center in Bethesda, Md., for service members with traumatic brain injuries.

A nice gesture considering you have been a “SKUNK” in your personal life & have helped yourself to $$$$ millions at other people’s expense.

It is nice to see someone donating money to help OUR service men and women instead of all the people in foreign countries. The US is always the first to help foreigners but we often overlook our own.. Very nice gesture Mr. Barker
