Motel Resident Charged With Child Porn
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- A registered sex offender has been charged with child pornography possession after police say they found him living in a Frederick motel with four computers and thousands of porn files.
Robert Ingram, 58, remained at the Frederick County jail Tuesday, a day after his bail was set at $500,000.
Maryland State Police, working with Pennsylvania authorities and the FBI, say they tracked Ingram to the Red Horse Comfort Inn from an Internet provider address for the motel's free wireless service.
They say Ingram admitted to downloading child porn.
He is charged with five counts based on videos of victims ages 5 to 9.
Ingram pleaded guilty to third-degree sex offense in 2006 and was sentenced to nearly three months in jail and three years of supervised probation.
