Police Ask For Help In Identifying Victim Of Fatal Hit-And-Run

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman killed in a hit-and-run incident in Fort Washington in January. 

The woman's body was found Jan. 3 along Indian Head Highway. Police say the body had extensive trauma consistent with a pedestrian collision. 

The woman was black, about 50 years old, 5'5" and weighing 120 pounds. She was wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. 

Police are also looking for anyone who saw the accident. 

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the hit-and-run driver.
