Man Who Battled 4 Police Officers Sentenced
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A man who admitted to being on PCP when he fought with four police officers has been sentenced to 18 months house arrest.
Stephen Lee Wise Jr., 34, was also ordered at sentencing Thursday to submit to random drug testing and complete substance treatment. He pleaded guilty to attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer.
Police were called in October when Wise walked into a road, banged on the hood of a van and sat on the bumper.
Despite being sprayed with pepper spray and being shocked with a stun gun, police say Wise fought with the four officers, flipping one over his shoulder onto the ground.
Wise was eventually handcuffed and arrested.
