Multi-Car Crash Injures Infant In Laurel

LAUREL, Md. (AP) — Authorities say several people have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Laurel, including an infant who is in critical condition.

Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the accident happened about 9 a.m. on Montepelier Drive in a residential community. He says as many as five people were injured, including an infant who was receiving CPR at the scene.

Brady says an adult also was seriously injured.

Police are still on the scene investigating.

    Wanna bet speed, distraction & possibly no seat belts were responsible along with a cell phone.

    That’s more then likely, Bernard. They’re putting speed/red light cameras up ALL OVER Laurel. It’s a ridiculous amount, but I hope it helps to prevent accidents like this. I hope the baby pulls through.
