CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. (AP) — Gov. Martin O’Malley is attending an event to talk about veterans issues.

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, who is in the Army reserves, and Democratic Rep. Steny Hoyer also are scheduled to attend the event Monday in Charlotte Hall.

O’Malley will tour the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. After that, he will take part in a discussion among local veterans on issues important to the veteran community.

The event is the third in a series of “Maryland Forward” forums.
