Police Probe 2 Fatal Shootings In Prince George's County
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are investigating two fatal shootings in Capitol Heights overnight, which bring the county's homicide total to 26 for the year.
Police say someone found a pizza deliveryman fatally shot in the 6800-block of Seat Pleasant Drive around 8:30 p.m. Sunday and the man died on the way to the hospital. Police are still looking for the shooter and say robbery is among the motives being considered.
County police are also investigating a fatal shooting at a Shell gas station at Ritchie Road and Central Avenue in Capitol Heights around 3:30 a.m. Monday. Brian Vincent Cooper, 20, died at a local hospital.
Police say they don't have information on a motive or suspect.
