Arena Stage To Revive 'Oklahoma!' With 2010 Cast

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Arena Stage is bringing back all of the principal cast members from its hit 2010 revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" for another run this summer.

The theater announced Thursday that the production will again feature Eleasha Gamble as Laurey, Nicholas Rodriguez from Broadway's "Tarzan" as Curley and E. Faye Butler as Aunt Eller.

Arena Artistic Director Molly Smith will direct the production. It runs July 8 through Oct. 9.

The show was a big seller for Arena's opening in its new home, the Mead Center for American Theater on the southwest waterfront.

It broke all of the theater company's previous box office records. Arena is extending its season to offer year-round programs.
