BLOG: The Rotation Is Set
The Baltimore Orioles have set their pitching rotation for at least the first few weeks of the 2011 season. Keep in mind that the club won't need a 5th starter until the end of the month. Jeremy Guthrie will start opening night in Tampa Bay against the Rays. Followed by Brian Matusz, and Chris Tillman. Jake Arrieta will start the home opener on Monday. Brad Bergesen will start the season in the bullpen. Let's also remember that this will change depending on the health of Justin Duchscherer, and the readiness of Zach Britton. Bring on Friday night!!
