Police ID Motorcyclist Killed On Baltimore Highway

BALTIMORE (AP) — The Maryland Transportation Authority Police say a northern Virginia man was killed in a motorcycle crash as he left the Baltimore Orioles home opener.

Police said Tuesday that Patrick Anthony Slack-Valentino, 23, of Fort Belvoir, Va., was wearing a helmet when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed on Interstate 395 just south of Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Monday evening.

Sgt. Jonathan Green says Slack-Valentino was pronounced dead on the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, but anyone who saw the crash is asked to call the collision reconstruction unit at 443-324-8894.

    Unfortunate ending to a game.

What a shame that a child will be born and not know his/her father, but God had a reason. My heart aches for the family of this young man. If, indeed, he was a soldier, our blessings in having him on this earth were twofold.

Hey Joel Raes that was my cousin that died in that motorcycle accident. You sit up there and just act like its ok to talk the way you. You better hope i never see you in person cause it wouldnt be good. All I can say is karma is a b***h.

To Chase Bigble……I worked with your cousin….he was my Soldier in Korea. The one thing that I will say is that you are jumping on Joel and all he was saying is,” that is a BAD ending to game.” Why would you say that as the person is showing remorse.

yes, that was a soldier who died in that accident. A solider who was about to become a father. Im really glad that whatever comment y’all are upset over is removed. Prayers to his family. He was too young for this to happen.

  • Sherri R Slack (mom)

Thank all of you for your kind words and for those that helped us through this tragedy. Much gratitude, Sherri Slack, Patrick’s mom.
