Police ID Motorcyclist Killed On Baltimore Highway

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Maryland Transportation Authority Police say a northern Virginia man was killed in a motorcycle crash as he left the Baltimore Orioles home opener.

Police said Tuesday that Patrick Anthony Slack-Valentino, 23, of Fort Belvoir, Va., was wearing a helmet when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed on Interstate 395 just south of Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Monday evening.

Sgt. Jonathan Green says Slack-Valentino was pronounced dead on the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, but anyone who saw the crash is asked to call the collision reconstruction unit at 443-324-8894.
