2 Food Deliverers Robbed In Week In Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Authorities say two men delivering food have been robbed on the same block in Frederick in less than a week.

The Frederick Police Department says a man was robbed while delivering food in the 100-block of Willowdale Drive about 4 p.m. Thursday. Police say the man was attempting to deliver food to an apartment but there was no answer. While outside the apartment, he was approached by a man with a knife who robbed him.

Authorities say a man suffered a minor injury to his ankle when he fell during the robbery.

On April 2, a man was robbed at knife-point while delivering pizza to an apartment on the same block.
