Police: Woman Passes Plea For Help To Bank Teller

YORK, Pa. (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania say they arrested a man on assault charges after a woman passed a note to a bank teller saying she needed help.

Northern York County Regional police say Jason Zacek, of Aberdeen, Md., was arrested Wednesday at a motel in Manchester Township. The alleged victim was found with a black eye and other injuries and told police Zacek threatened to cut off her head.

Investigators say Zacek had met the victim online, then began abusing and threatening her when they met in person. Authorities say the woman managed to slip a note asking for help to a bank teller without Zacek noticing.

Zacek is being held on $2,500 bail at York County Prison. It was not clear if he had an attorney.

People need to stop meetingthis on line dating, she is lucking to be alive and having someone help her. Now if the justice system will keep him locked up more women will be safe.

I am glad that she is safe but you must have to know that there are creeps on online dating just like in general people meeting people.. We all have to be very careful

if you meet someone online…do not go to a nonpublic place to meet up with them until you have gone out with them in public settings and know them a little bit better. Build some sort of trust in them before you put yourself in a very vulnerable position. Especialy if you are a woman. Check public Record, thats why its available to the public. Be safe…not sorry.

I am so glad this girl is ok. I lived in Aberdeen and jus moved recently, but this is the reason I moved…theres a lot of creepy people around that area here lately. Not everyone…so please do not be offended if you live in Aberdeen…like I said I did too. But even the guy who lived directly behind me would watch me out his window. It got to the point where we had to put a privacy fence and surveilance cameras. That place is shady…but anywhere you go, there are creeps. Always be one step ahead for your own safety.

    Met on line.
    Says it all.
I could tell you any sweet little lie, just to connect to anyone.
Harmony and all those sites seem a joke to me.

Be safe when meeting someone online. Doesn’t. Cost much to have a intensive background check done. Even a criminal check for that matter. I met my wife of 9 years now online about 11 years ago!!!
