Westminster To Continue Red Light Cameras
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Westminster police say the department will continue to use red-light cameras as long as the money they bring in exceeds the cost of the program.
Police say the program raised more than $16,000 its first year, and there were fewer traffic crashes and red-light violators than the previous year.
The department began using the cameras at two intersections in March 2010.
