Woman Found Dead Outside Md. Apartment Complex

BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County say they're investigating the death of a woman found shot outside an apartment building in Bladensburg.

The body was discovered Thursday night in the rear of an apartment complex. The woman's been identified as  Shawnta Lysheema Coleman, 33, of Alexandria, Va.

Cpl. Henry Tippett, a police spokesman, says a baby was found in a car seat near Coleman's body. Police are investigating whether the baby was Coleman's or not.

The child was unharmed and turned over to social service workers.

There's no immediate information on possible suspects.
