BLOG: Orioles Hit With A Little Reality
Orioles are 6-3 on the season. That is the good news. The bad news is they ran into a really good Texas Rangers team at Camden Yards this weekend. They won the first game of a doubleheader behind a great performance from Zach Britton. After that it was all downhill. Blownout 13-1 in the late game Saturday. Then despite a great effort from Jeremy Guthrie, they were shutout by Derek Holland and the Rangers 3-0 on Sunday. The O's had opportunities to score runs but nobody could get a big hit. I think a lot of teams will be made to look bad by Texas, but I think for some Oriole fans, its back to reality.
