BLOG: Dry & Comfortable

BAlTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Northeast will stay dry and comfortable Friday as high pressure stationed over eastern Canada will allow for this quiet weather to continue one more day.  A storm system will approach from the west Friday night into Saturday allowing for the quiet weather to end. The storm will bring rain and windy conditions to the entire region. Winds may gust as high as 40 mph Saturday as the storm moves through the region.

The rain will be heavy at times, especially in thunderstorms that will occur throughout the area. The storm will exit the region Sunday leaving behind a mix of clouds and sunshine. Another storm will begin to form in the central United States Monday. This storm will spread some moisture ahead of it quickly Monday in the form of a warm front possibly causing a stray shower to form in the area. The front looks to stay parked in the area Tuesday and could bring some rain this day north of the viewing area. The front will finally lift north Wednesday allowing for a rather warm day across the area before another cold front comes through the region Wednesday night into Thursday. The overall weather theme is dry today followed by a wet and cool day tomorrow with windy conditions as well. Have a nice day!
