BGE Expects Power Outages From High Winds In Md.
COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) -- BGE says it is remobilizing crews across central Maryland because of high winds expected across the area.
The utility expects the worst winds to blow through about 5 p.m. Saturday. At least 200 field and other personnel are being called in for support.
Company spokesman Rob Gould says the fact that they're mobilizing crews in advance of a storm means at least some power outages are likely.
