Aberdeen Proving Ground To Detonate Ordnance
ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) -- Aberdeen Proving Ground officials warn that explosives experts will be detonating unexploded ordnance over the next few weeks.
Spokesman George Mercer says the series of detonations designed to destroy unexploded ordnance at a remote range at the installation will continue until May 15, depending on the weather.
Mercer says some noise may be heard off the installation. But he says anyone with questions or concerns can call 410-278-1147.
