Police Escort For Troops Could Snarl Traffic In Md.

BALTIMORE (AP) --  A police escort for a group of wounded troops headed to a baseball game in Baltimore could snarl traffic on the Capital Beltway and Interstate 95.

Gov. Martin O'Malley and Baltimore Police Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld are hosting the group of about 25 troops wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan at Wednesday night's Orioles game against the Boston Red Sox.

Baltimore police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says representatives of several police agencies will escort the troops from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda around 3 p.m. to Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore. They will also escort the group back to Bethesda after the game.
