College Renames Business School For Donor
EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg is honoring a late board member by renaming its business school for him.
Archbishop Edwin O'Brien of the Baltimore archdiocese and his retired predecessor, Cardinal William Keeler, are scheduled to preside Thursday over a Mass and a blessing ceremony for the Richard J. Bolte Sr. School of Business.
Bolte, of Moorestown, N.J., founded the Philadelphia-based global logistics company BDP International. He died in 2006.
The university announced in February that Bolte's family had made a large donation to the business school.
The university says all seven of Bolte's sons attended Mount St. Mary's.
