SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Salisbury’s mayor said the city has received nearly $60,000 in rebates from Delmarva Power and Light.
Mayor Jim Ireton says the rebates came through an energy savings program and offsets the cost of improvements to the Paleo Water Treatment Plant.
Salisbury installed two new pumps with energy-efficient motors, seven drives to control the motors of the distribution pumps, two well pumps and a new HVAC system.
The rebates will go to the Water/Sewer Fund.
